1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the services provided by Portable Stargazing Observatory ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Services Provided
We provide mobile telescope rentals, guided stargazing experiences, educational astronomy programs, and astrophotography sessions. Services are delivered at locations agreed upon during the booking process.
3. Booking and Payments
All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. A deposit may be required to secure your booking. Full payment is due prior to the scheduled experience unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept major credit cards and electronic payment methods.
4. Cancellation and Weather Policy
Cancellations made 72+ hours before the scheduled session receive a full refund. Cancellations within 72 hours are subject to a 25% cancellation fee. In the event of inclement weather, we will reschedule your session at no additional cost or provide a full refund at your request.
5. Equipment Care
All telescope equipment remains the property of Portable Stargazing Observatory. Clients are responsible for any damage caused by negligence or misuse during self-service rental periods. Normal wear and accidental damage covered by our standard equipment protection.
6. Assumption of Risk
Stargazing experiences take place outdoors. Participants should dress appropriately for weather conditions and be aware of their surroundings. We are not liable for injuries resulting from outdoor conditions, uneven terrain, or personal negligence.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service in question. We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Portable Stargazing Observatory and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Astrophotography images captured during sessions may be used by clients for personal purposes. Commercial use requires written permission.
9. Modifications
We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.
